Nyeri Punggung Bawah dan Hubungannya dengan Lama Duduk pada Mahasiswa di Masa Pandemi COVID-19

Mahasiswa sarjana menjadi lebih terbiasa duduk dalam waktu lama sebagai akibat dari transisi ke metode pembelajaran secara daring. Duduk untuk waktu yang lama dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan prevalensi nyeri punggung bawah, yang merupakan masalah yang memengaruhi orang-orang dari segala usia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara lama duduk dengan nyeri punggung bawah pada mahasiswa. Kuesioner digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian observasional analitik dengan teknik cross-sectional pada 204 sampel. Pengumpulan sampel dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode systematic random sampling. Prevalensi nyeri punggung bawah didapatkan hasil sebesar 69,1%. Uji statistik Chi Square mengungkapkan bahwa lama duduk dan nyeri punggung tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (p value = 0,981). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa selama pandemi COVID-19, prevalensi nyeri punggung bawah di kalangan mahasiswa tinggi dan diperlukan metode pencegahan dan strategi yang optimal.
