Publication Fees

Preventif: Jurnal Kesehatan Masyarakat provides open access to published articles without charging readers or their institutions. The following fees apply to authors.

  1. Submission Fee

Article submission is free of charge.

Authors are not charged for submitting a manuscript for editorial consideration. Submission does not guarantee that a manuscript will proceed to external peer review or be accepted.

  1. Article Publication Fee

The publication fee is IDR 500,000 per accepted article.

This fee is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. It supports the journal’s publication activities.

  1. Payment Procedure

Payment instructions will be provided by the editorial office following formal acceptance.

Authors should include the manuscript identification number when confirming payment and retain their proof of payment. Questions concerning invoices, payment instructions, or payment confirmation should be directed to the journal email listed below.

  1. Editorial Independence

Payment does not guarantee acceptance, a favorable review, or publication within a particular period.

All manuscripts are assessed according to their scientific quality, relevance, research integrity, and compliance with journal policies. Publication fees must not influence reviewer recommendations or editorial decisions.

  1. Additional Services and Charges

Authors should consult the editorial office before requesting services beyond standard article publication. Any applicable additional charge must be explained and agreed upon before the service is provided.

  1. Financial Assistance Inquiries

Authors who anticipate difficulty paying the publication fee may contact the editorial office to ask whether financial assistance is available.

This statement does not guarantee a waiver or discount. Any available assistance and its conditions must be confirmed in writing by the journal.

  1. Open Access for Readers

Published articles remain freely accessible to readers. The author publication fee is separate from access rights and does not create subscription or download charges.

Reuse of published content is governed by the license applicable to each article.

  1. Changes to Fees

Any change to publication fees will be announced on this page. The announcement will specify which submissions are affected. Authors must be informed of applicable charges before payment is requested.
