Author Guidelines

Papers are invited from anywhere in the world, and so authors are asked to ensure that sufficient context is provided for all readers to appreciate their contribution.

Types of papers

The types of papers may be considered for inclusion in the original research paper, literature review, case report and systematic review.

How to submit your manuscript

All manuscripts should be submitted online at https://jurnal.fkm.untad.ac.id/index.php/ghidza/

General Guidelines

  1. This journal is a scientific publication in the field of nutrition and health-related to aspects Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Food Nutrition, Food Service System

  3. The manuscript should be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  4. Fill out and upload the Publication ethics statement form (Download)
  5. It consists of the title, author’s name, institution, email address, abstract, keywords, content, and references.
  6. The title must be clear, precise and no more than 20 words.
  7. The author does not need to include an academic title.
  8. The manuscript should be typed in MS document format with Times New Roman, size 12 pts, one and a half-space, A4 paper roughly 15 to 25 pages
  9. The abstract should be written in English and Indonesian, not more than 250 words, with single spacing, includes keywords reflecting the content of the manuscript. Keywords consist of 3-5 words and should be alphabetized. Contains a brief description of the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in a single paragraph
  10. The content page: Introduction. Consists of background and research objectives that are written in different paragraphs. The background should contain state of the art from domestic and foreign journals as primary references. Methods. Consists of these subchapters: design, place and time; sampling (survey) or materials and tools (laboratory); data type and collection (survey) or research steps (laboratory); and data processing and analysis. Code Of Health Ethics. If research is directly related to patients, and uses test animals in research. Please attach a research code of ethics related to your article. Result. The research results should be clear and concise. Outline the key findings of your study. You do not need to include excessive detail, especially if you are using tables and figures. Results may be presented using tables, charts, figures, flowcharts, or transcripts. Discussion. Authors should discuss the results and how they can be interpreted from the perspective of previous studies and of the working hypotheses. The findings and their implications should be discussed in the broadest context possible. Conclusion. Contain answers to the research objectives and is not a summary of the results. Recommendation (optional) should be written in this chapter in a separate paragraph. Recommendations may be implications for programs and advanced research that needs to be done based on research findings or conclusions of the authors. Funding. Please add: “This research received no external funding” or “This research was funded by NAME OF FUNDER, grant number XXX” and “The APC was funded by XXX. Acknowledgment (optional). Contains acknowledgments to donors or sponsors, contributors of materials, and research facilities. The names should be written without an academic title. 
  11. References should be cited in the text. Only references cited in the text should be listed at the end of the paper.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
